Marina Grande

Location 

Marina Grande is located on the northern side of Capri island in the charming waters of Italy’s Tyrrhenian Sea near the Bay of Naples. Yachts can go stern or bows-to in the E part of the basin. The port offers good shelter from northerlies. Best to approach from the N and avoid going near the east breakwater section of the basin where there are a few shallow rocks. Prices reflect the high demand and luxury offerings on the island.

Provisioning 

Near the port, you will find all the amenities and supplies yacht charters need for a comfortable stay. There is water and electricity available for most berths as well as fuel on the quay. Marina Grande also offers basic engine and electrical repairs with a crane up to 20T. In addition to restaurants and shops, there are affordable options for grocery stores near the harbour. While you don’t need a car for Capri, you will need to rent scooters or use public transportation to access other areas of the island. To visit Anacapri and enjoy the view of Mount Solano you will need transport.
