Dive-first catamaran. OMBRE BLU³ is a Sunreef sailing catamaran built in 2010 and refit in 2018, set up for up to 8 guests who want their water time to be the main event.
A real PADI setup. This is a certified PADI dive centre with a dive compressor and 8 full scuba sets onboard, so you can actually plan proper dives (and even courses) without playing “who packed what.”
Easy in, easy out. Wide swimming platforms make getting in the sea simple. No gymnastics.
Toys that get used. A 5m Castoldi jet tender (new in 2018) handles runarounds, while kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, waterskis, wakeboards, an inflatable tube, windsurfers, and snorkeling gear keep everyone busy between swims.
Simple sleeping plan. Four cabins sleep 8 in a 3 double plus 1 twin layout, with air conditioning for nights that stay comfortable.

The charter was wonderful, boat and crew were excellent and the food was truly outstanding.
We did a circle of Procida, Ischia, Ventotene, Capri, Positano, and Sorrento.
My one regret is that we didn’t go further to the Pontine Islands to avoid the crowds (mostly American) but happy to see the Amalfi Coast from the comfort of a boat vs. crowded hotel.
You may be hearing from people in our party about another charter on OmbreBlu. And we may try it again in Sicily!
