Description: Few engineers bring the breadth of experience that Salvatore has accumulated over more than two decades at sea. Description: Mauro is a Sicilian chef whose career has taken him from the kitchens of Malta and Mallorca to superyachts cruising the Caribbean, the Bahamas, the Whitsundays and the Mediterranean, accumulating a breadth of culinary and charter experience that is genuinely rare. Since 2020 he has worked almost exclusively as Sole Chef on private and charter yachts, including multiple seasons aboard the 31-metre Rahil, the 35-metre Alpha Zulu / Ever East in the Caribbean and BVI, the 35-metre Rascal in Australia, and most recently the 48-metre Starburst III in the Mediterranean.
Equally fluent in Mediterranean, Italian, French, Asian fusion, Japanese and raw cuisine, as well as vegan, vegetarian and allergen-specific menus, Mauro combines serious technical range with the creativity and calm that a charter kitchen demands.
