I walked ANJELIF at the MYBA Charter Show in Sanremo in 2026, with John from our team, a week after her first charter season sold out. The photos are mine, from that morning.
ANJELIF is the one boat in the bay that is not white. Her hull is champagne gold, and the gold runs through everything inside her, down to the flakes on the desserts her crew served us at the MYBA show. She is a 50-metre Columbus delivered in 2024, designed by her owner, the Italian entrepreneur Maria Francesca Angelini, around a spa inside the master suite, with a real swimming pool on deck and a masseuse in the crew. If the spa is the point of the week, she is the wellness yacht in the 50-metre class in Italy, and this review is about what she gives a group that books her for it.

ANJELIF in numbers

- Guests: 10 in 5 cabins: a full-beam master with study, dressing room, massage room and gym; a VIP that splits into two doubles; a double; two convertible double or twin cabins, one with a pullman berth.
- Crew: 11, all Italian, with a masseuse among them.
- Speed: 13 to 16 knots cruising, 20 knots maximum, on a diesel-electric hybrid with a silent electric mode. Stabilisers underway and at anchor.
- Rate: 330,000 EUR per week, 370,000 EUR in July, August and event weeks, plus 35% APA and VAT by cruising area. With 10 aboard that is 33,000 to 37,000 EUR per person before expenses.
- Water: a main-deck swimming pool with counter-current and heating, a sundeck jacuzzi and a hydraulic swim platform. Toys: a Seadoo Waverunner, two Seabobs, two e-foils, wakeboard, water skis, paddleboards, kayak, towables and snorkelling kit.

The golden theme: attention to detail from the hull to the dessert plate
The detail is the standout. The hull is gold. The ceilings are gold leaf. The dining table is inlaid with stone and gold, the basins are blue agate, the walls are mineral stone, quartz, shell and oyster, and every corner on board is rounded, by the owner’s own rule. Each guest cabin has its own colour. Then the crew bring out desserts with gold flakes on them, and you understand that nobody on this boat stopped at the big things. Her captain said it on camera at the show: the interior is where the owner put her attention, “very high level for the details, for the materials”.
It is one taste, and it is a warm, curved, feminine, Italian one. A client who wants white and minimal should book another boat. A client who wants to feel that someone thought about every surface will not find her equal at this size.
The master suite: a spa behind one door
The master is on the main deck and runs the full beam. Off it: a study with a curved desk, a dressing room, a massage room with its own table, and a gym with Technogym kit. The bathroom has a spa bath against a stone wall, a hammam shower and a separate infrared sauna. A balcony folds out of the hull on the port side with a single lounger. Nadja’s note from the same show is the practical one: the massage room and gym open up to the other guests when the principal is not using them, so the suite is private without locking the spa away from the rest of the boat.
The captain’s own pick, on tape: “The best part of the boat for me is the master cabin. The sauna, a very nice dressing room, the gym.”
The pool on the main deck, the jacuzzi on the sundeck
The aft main deck has a real swimming pool, with a counter-current for laps and heating for the shoulder months, set into a wide sunpad. Two decks up, the sundeck has the jacuzzi with the yacht’s name set into it, a bar, sunbeds and a shaded dining table under the hardtop. The bow has a lounge with sofas that turns into a cinema at night, or a dance floor. Between the pool, the jacuzzi, the spa bath and the hydraulic platform, there are four ways into water without leaving the boat.
Who she is for: four groups her cabins fit
Read the cabin plan and the groups write themselves. One lead couple in the master with two couples or two families below. A multigeneration family, grandparents in the master, parents in the VIP, children and nanny in the convertibles with the pullman berth. A group of women friends sharing a spa week, with the VIP split into two doubles so nobody draws the short cabin. Or one couple alone, with the master as a private spa retreat and the rest of the boat quiet. When we walked her, every charter booked for her first season had been booked by a woman.
The VIP is the trick in all four. It is one large suite that divides into two doubles, so she books as five cabins or six. The two convertible cabins switch between a double and twins. Every cabin has its own bathroom.
The crew and the food
Eleven crew for ten guests, all Italian, with a masseuse among them, as the crew told us at the show. The gold-flake desserts are theirs. We have not booked her yet; our picture of her comes from two of us walking her, the captain on camera, and her first-season booking sheet.
What she is for, and what she is not
Wellness first, then hosting, family and quiet. She is not a sport boat and not a speed boat: 13 to 16 knots, a week of anchorages and the spa, not of covering the coast.
Two things to know before you book. First, she is one owner’s taste, gold and curves and inlays, and a client who wants a white, minimal boat should look at the others on our Italian superyacht fleet page. Second, she sleeps ten in five cabins, with a sixth cabin only by splitting the VIP; a group of twelve adults does not fit, and a group that needs three equal master-grade cabins should look elsewhere.
Booking ANJELIF for Italy: rate, VAT, base and what to ask
The published rate is 330,000 EUR per week, 370,000 EUR in July, August and event weeks, plus 35% APA and VAT at the rate of the country you cruise in. At the top of the 50-metre band in Italy, that buys a 2024 build, eleven crew for ten guests, a pool and a full spa, which the older 50-metre boats at 250,000 to 300,000 do not have. She is based in Monaco and covers Italy, Sardinia, Corsica, the Riviera, the Balearics and Greece; her pages on our South of France, Corsica, Mallorca and Greece sites cover those weeks. Ask whether the VIP will be set as one suite or two, which convertible cabin gets the pullman, and whether the masseuse is aboard for your dates.
Two of us have walked her and we put her first on our Top 10 superyachts for charter in Italy.
