A Ferretti yacht charter in Italy costs about €65,000 a week in high season for the typical yacht, plus expenses and VAT. Across the 69 Ferrettis in our catalogue that cruise Italy, half fall between €46,000 and €85,000 a week.
That buys a 70 to 100 foot flybridge yacht for eight to ten guests with three or four crew. The four we feature on this page run €36,000 to €80,000.
Ferretti is the classic Italian flybridge yacht: a sheltered upper deck for lunch and sunbathing, a full-beam master below, and a crew of three or four. Two of the yachts we profile here were launched in 2025.
Who builds Ferretti yachts, and how do they relate to Riva and Pershing?
Ferretti was founded in 1968 by the brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti and is based at Forlì. The Ferretti Group also owns Riva, Pershing, CRN and Custom Line, so a Ferretti shares a shipyard family with several of the yachts in our other guides.
Across the 292 Ferretti motor yachts on our books, the typical yacht takes eight guests in four cabins. Ferretti Yachts is the group’s flybridge line, built for cruising comfort rather than top speed.

About €65,000 a week in high season for the typical Ferretti cruising Italy, before expenses and VAT. Half of the 69 in our catalogue fall between €46,000 and €85,000, and the 100 footers sit near €100,000.

The rate is for the yacht and crew only. Add about 30% for the Advance Provisioning Allowance, which pays for fuel, food, drinks and berths, and 22% Italian VAT on the charter fee.
A €65,000 week therefore budgets at about €99,000 before gratuity. Our Italy yacht charter cost guide walks through every line, and the Italian charter VAT page explains what the 22% applies to.

FAST is a 2025 Ferretti of 89 feet based in Porto Cervo, at €70,000 to €80,000 a week. She has Seakeeper stabilisers at anchor and under way and an inflatable floating pool, for eight guests with four crew.
ERMETE is also a 2025 build, a 72 foot Ferretti based in Sorrento at €48,000 to €53,000 a week. She cruises at 25 knots with a Williams jet tender, which makes her quick between Capri, Naples and Amalfi.
Which Ferretti suits a family on a budget, and which takes ten?
SEA SONS is a Ferretti 700 from 2016 based in Naples, at €26,000 to €36,000 a week for eight guests in four en-suite cabins. She has stabilisers at anchor, an Audi e-foil and a Seabob.
IVA is the one that takes ten, in five cabins, at €65,000 to €70,000 a week. She is a 96 foot Ferretti refitted in 2024 and based in Montenegro, and she lists Italy among her cruising areas, so a delivery fee applies for an Italian start.

What is included in a Ferretti charter rate, and what is extra?
Every yacht on this page charters on plus-expenses terms:
- Included: the yacht, her crew of three or four, insurance and the water toys she carries.
- APA, about 30%: fuel, food, drinks and marina berths, paid up front and accounted for by the captain. Whatever you do not spend comes back to you.
- VAT, 22%: charged on the charter fee for a week that starts in Italy. It is not charged on the APA.
- Gratuity: at your discretion. In the Mediterranean it usually falls between 5 and 15% of the charter fee.
Our page on how the APA works in Italy shows what moves the APA, and the one on marina versus anchor nights covers berth costs in Capri and Porto Cervo.
When should you book a Ferretti for Italy?
For July and August, book four to six months ahead, and earlier for the 2025 builds. June and September list lower and are quieter on the water.
Our guide to the best time for an Italy yacht charter compares the months region by region.
Is a Ferretti the right yacht, or should you look at another Italian yard?
Choose a Ferretti for a comfortable flybridge yacht with a sheltered upper deck. For a sportier yacht at a similar size, see our Pershing, Azimut and Riva guides.
For a larger yacht from the same group, our CRN guide covers the custom superyachts built at Ancona. Every motor yacht we list for Italy is on our Italy motor yacht charter page.
